Michael Pappas grew up in Philadelphia, Pa. playing and learning the game of lacrosse. He's the first to admit that in those days, his first love was wrestling and it wasn't until years later, as a transplant to Utah, that his true passion for lacrosse came alive.
Mike was the driving force in starting and building the K-4 youth lacrosse program at The Waterford School, Coached Team Utah's U-15 Travel Team, and led Brighton's Junior team to a state championship appearance in 2005. Mike is also the co-founder of Utah Select Lacrosse Club, which currently supports 4 teams with awards that include: U-13 Vail tournament Div. B champions 2008, U-15 Golden Goal Champions 2008, and U-13 Virginia Lax festival champions 2007.
Mike was asked to take over as head coach for Jordan's boys varsity team in 2006. In coach Pappas' short stint with Jordan, he lead them to a state semi-final appearance 2007 and a state championship appearance in 2008.
