Rick Kladis was born and raised locally in Salt Lake City, Utah where he was raised a die-hard Ute fan from day one. He played at Judge Memorial Catholic High School where he led the Bulldogs to state championships in 2000 and 2001, was awarded 2000 Utah High School Lacrosse League MVP, and had the honor of being recognized as the first ever All-American Lacrosse player from the state of Utah.
Rick played collegiate lacrosse at Gonzaga University where he accumulated a record 269 career points, was recognized as a 4 time All-American, 4 time All-Conference Attackman, and the 2005 PNCLL Conference Most Valuable Player. He graduated in 2005 earning a degree in Business Administration, and Sports Management.
Rick became the Head Lacrosse Coach at Gonzaga University for 3 years where he attended Graduate School in the field of Athletic Administration, and discovered his passion for coaching. In 2008, Rick moved back to Utah and coached his alma mater Judge Memorial under Hall of Fame Coach Dave Allen for one season before accepting a position at the University of Utah.
You can be sure to find Rick helping out with lacrosse teams, clubs, and events around the country, especially locally in Utah. In addition to coaching, Rick is a Regional Director in Salt Lake City for Prodigy Network.
