| About:
| Rich grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, and he has been playing
organized lacrosse since he was six years old. He was captain of
his high school lacrosse squad, and was a Kelly award nominee for
most outstanding lacrosse player. Rich went on to play and captain
the varsity lacrosse team at Brown University. His team, coached by
Dom Starsia, made it to the Division I NCAA quarterfinals in 1991
and 1992. Since graduating from Brown, Rich has remained active in
lacrosse. In Baltimore, he played men's summer league, and started a
lacrosse program at Thurgood Marshall Middle School, an inner-city
public school. He also coached middle school lacrosse and high
school summer league. In 1999, Rich moved to Park City, Utah with
his wife Debbie. Since that time, Rich has played with many local
club teams, and has played in many tournaments throughout the
western United States. In 2005, Rich used his remaining year of
eligibility to play lacrosse at the University of Utah.
When he is not playing or coaching lacrosse, he skis as often as
possible.

Rick Vance, Defensive Coordinator

| About:
| Rick started playing lacrosse at age twelve when
his family moved to Maryland. He became a goalie early in his high school career,
and graduated as the captain of his team and top keeper in the county (Howard High,
Columbia MD, Class of ‘95). He was recruited to several NCAA programs, and ended
up at Widener University (Chester, PA), more because of Widener's engineering program
than their lacrosse program. During his time at Widener his team went undefeated
in the Mid-Atlantic Conference (MAC) for four consecutive seasons and won the
conference championship each of those seasons. As a member of Widener's team
he was a four-year starter, four-year all conference goalie (MAC), and was team
captain for two years. Rick graduated in 1999 with a degree in mechanical engineering.
Since then he has coached goalies at the high school and college levels, most recently
dedicating his time to developing Utah's Jeremy Johnson into a 2nd-Team All-American.
Rick moved to Utah 4 years ago and spends most of his free time rock climbing.
He is currently working for the U of U Department of
Orthopedics as a research engineer in the Orthopedic Bioengineering Research Laboratory.

Steve Kisslinger, Offensive Coordinator

| About:
| Steve Kisslinger grew up playing lacrosse in Peekskill, New York
before being recruited to play at Towson University. While at Towson, Kissinger was an All-American
finalist for Defense in 1990, and Midfield in 1991. After college Kissinger was drafted by the MLL
to play midfield for the Baltimore Thunder. Kissinger's professional lacrosse playing career with
the MLL lasted from 1992-2000, in which he played for a variety of teams including New York and Buffalo.
In 2001 Kissinger was drafted into the newly formed MILL to play defense for the Long Island
Lizards from 2001-2002. Having played both sides of the ball with some of the best players in the
world, Kissinger brings his unique extensive knowledge of the game to coordinate the
University of Utah's offensive strategy.

Greg Pagano, Assistant Coach--Defense

| About:
| Greg Pagano began playing lacrosse in the 8th grade, played in High School for the Air Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. After graduating High School Greg went on to play at U-Mass before settling at Colorado University. After graduating in 1999 with a degree in Civil Engineering, Greg was commissioned to the Air Force in the Civil Engineering Squad. While in the Air Force Greg traveled extensively, he has played in New Orleans and coached at Mississippi State from 2000-2001. Greg has made several showings at the Vail Lacrosse Shoot-out playing on the Vail Elite Team, and currently plays with the Park City Club Lacrosse Team. Greg's experience as a long pole provides the young defense with instruction on how to take control of intensity and pace of the game.

| Pierre grew up in Clifton Park, Saratoga County in upstate New York. After playing lacrosse in high school, Pierre moved to Boston and played for the Division 1 Boston College lacrosse team before graduating in '85. After college, Pierre moved to Los Angeles to attend law school at Pepperdine University (class of Õ89), while there Pierre was an instrumental member of the emerging statewide lacrosse club. Pierre played midfield for the CA lacrosse club throughout the late 80Õs to the early 90's. Pierre's life outside of lacrosse includes: being appointed assistant US attorney for the Central District of California in Los Angeles, Deputy District Attorney for L.A County, war crimes prosecutor for the UN International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, special counsel and policy advisor on war. He brings incredible experience and leadership to the University of Utah Lacrosse Team, and we are honored to have him as part of the squad.

| About:
| Coach Zimmerman's background in strength and conditioning began in high school, where he sought knowledge to improve his own athletic performance in the game of lacrosse. Following high school, his passion for athletic training increased while playing lacrosse at the University of Denver, where he saw first-hand, the differences in the performance of his team with organized training.
Coach Zimmerman gained certifications as a trainer from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and used their philosophies as the basis for his program design. He trained for four years at Xcel Fitness in Holladay, Utah, where he worked with members of the U.S. ski team, Utah Grizzlies, Utah Jazz, college football players training for the NFL combine, mixed martial artists, and private clientele. He currently works in surgery at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City as he prepares to enter medical school.
