Utes Lacrosse Summer Camps
Take the best college lacrosse camp in Utah, and combine it with the best camp put on by current & former Pro players in the region... the result can only be considerred a "Super Camp!"

To provide an unprecedented camp experience this Summer, the Utes have joined forces with the East Meet West Lacrosse Academy to host for what can only be considerred a "Super Camp" right here in Utah!

In it's 14th year, the East Meets West Camp is well-known as a premier camp not only in Utah but in the region thanks to it's amazing coaching staff which includes some of the best players in the world.

This partnership provides players an unparalleled opportunity to work with current & former MLL professional players as well as the University of Utah staff, utilize the collegiate facilities and get the overnight camp experience all in one!

Drew Searl:
  • Director of East Meets West Lacrosse Camps, Played for Syracuse University and participated in 4 "Final Fours" as a player. Drew attended Judge Memorial right here in Salt Lake City and is the first player from the state of Utah to make an NCAA D1 roster.
Sean McCarthey:
  • Played Major League Lacrosse as a defenseman with the Denver Outlaws. 5th overall pick in the 2006 MLL draft. Earned All-American honors at both Nassau Community College on Long Island & Hofstra University. Part of 2003 Junior College National Championship Team.
Chris Pieczonka:
  • Current assistant coach for the University of Maryland. Midfielder and Face-Off man for the LA Riptide. All-American midfielder for the United States Naval Academy graduating in 2005. Chris holds the NCAA record for highest face-off win percentage in post season play winning over 80% of his face-offs. Served 5 years in the navy as a Lieutenant and Surface Warfare Officer.
John Corrozza:
  • Midfielder for MLL's Chicago Machine & Attackman for Syracuse University where he led Orange to 2008 NCAA National Championship game. Played in 2 NCAA Final Fours (2006, 2008) and was an assistant coach with Syracuse for yet another NCAA National Championship win in 2009. Founder of "The String Man LLC" which offers 'position specific' stringing designs for lacrosse players of all levels.
